Tutorial Details

Jenny will share with you why and how she looks towards directional fashion trends to enable her to create designs which are aligned with the mood and feeling of a particular season.

This course will open up a new chapter of inspiration for your millinery. Jenny will share tried and tested methods which you can use season after season, as well as giving you a heads up on the trends to get you started for Spring / Summer 2024.

The world of trend predictions can be overwhelming and intimidating, but if you can analyse and interpret the catwalks, magazines and trend prediction content then it allows you to:
Take inspiration from trends to create a collection of hats which are in line with what is happening in fashion, what can be purchased on the high street and create designs that are truly unique.

Enable you to share with your clients the current season’s trends, which builds trust in your ability, knowledge and brand. Also creates great content for communicating with potential clients.

Increases your profile and sales as your product is aligned with what fashion conscious clients want.

Jenny will use Spring / Summer 2024 as an example, and take you through a step-by-step guide to finding generic trends for this season. She will show you how to select appropriate trends for millinery, develop them further, identify how they relate and evolve from previous seasons and guide you through what resources are out there to identify the trends.
