I was born in 1946 in the north of the Netherlands/ Friesland.

After school I worked as a nurse untill 2010. Meanwhile I followed courses in tailoring in the eighties, and became a milliner in 2020.

I only make clothes and hats etc. for myself. I like to use various techniques, in millinery as well as in embroidery and patchwork/quilting for example. And most of all I like to learn new textile techniques mostly from milliners online.
